Post 10: No such thing as a whore, just the true nature within.

Post 10: No such thing as a whore, just the true nature within.

Everyone Has a Story sign with a exotic backgroundIf you have ever called someone a whore then listen up.

If a person, male or female, is acting in this manner, then they are probably feeling insecure, unworthy, unloved, not enough, and the list goes on.

Rather than calling them names and gossiping about them, we should be sending these people love from our hearts. We need to remember to see them in their True Nature and see ourselves in our True Nature as connected and One with each other in Spirit. These people are our brothers and sisters!

If you are guided to offer them a book, an encouraging word, anything to start them in the direction of remembering who they really are, then do so.

But the most important thing you can do is to turn the light of svadiyaya, yogic self-study, on to yourself, and look at why you feel the need to call this person a whore.

Are you jealous?
Are you fearful they may “steal” your man or woman?
Is their neediness reminding you of your own insecurities that you consider weak and don’t want to face?

If you are too immersed in the Ego to admit to jealousy or fear and you can only justify your dislike toward this person and their actions, then you are doing yourself a huge disservice.
You are simply spreading a message of disclusion and isolation.

If you can dig deep into the Ego thought system, you realize that your insecurity is not that much different than theirs.

That’s why we end up attacking people like this-because there is something in them that we don’t like about ourselves.

And it takes a lot of clarity to be able to even see this.

It takes a lot of courage to admit to fear and insecurity enough to be able to let our Ego guard down. Rather than building a wall separating ourselves from this person we: take that wall down, extend love toward this person, and allow the healing to begin within us and them.

Choose to see past the Ego thoughts and belief system of fear and insecurity and see your sisters and brothers as One in Spirit, equal to you and all of creation.

Don’t let the Ego continue to win this battle of further separating and isolating these people.
